I downloaded and installed Odoo for Windows from Bitnami. When I try to create a new database I get an error
Database creation error: Access denied
I checked using pgAdmin III for windows and the user bn_openerp has database creation permissions so I am not sure what else the problem could be.
Any ideas?

I figured out the problem. my auto fill was going back and changing my database password (top) every time I selected a username (middle)

Have you checked configuration file of Odoo ? In that admin_passwd is set. Are you using that password as Master Password when creating database ? If not, please use that password.
