Wide Awake Coffee is a company that manufactures and sells coffee products, specifically sealed bags of roasted coffee beans. They handle the entire supply chain from purchasing green beans to manufacturing roasted coffee in batches and finally producing the finished coffee bags.The challenges
Wide Awake Coffee faced complex supply chain challenges, including managing multi-stage manufacturing for both semi-finished and finished goods. They needed a system that could automatically trigger manufacturing orders for coffee bags based on demand, which in turn would trigger production of roasted beans if stock was low. The company also required a solution to handle large green bean shipments that are initially vendor-owned at a port location, with partial transfers to the main warehouse as needed.
Our solutions
The solution implemented for Wide Awake Coffee was a comprehensive supply chain management system within Odoo. This system uses reordering rules and a multi-level bill of materials to automatically trigger manufacturing orders for both roasted coffee beans and final products. By setting up different inventory locations, the system also correctly manages the logistics of vendor-owned green beans at the port and transfers them to the main warehouse only when needed. البيع بالجملة / التجزئة

Wijnwinkel Barneveld kiest Odoo voor schaalbaar voorraad- en orderbeheer en ter vervanging van haar Lightspeed kassaWijnwinkel Barneveld combineert een fysieke speciaalzaak met een groeiende webshop en levert zowel aan particuliere als zakelijke klanten. Ongeveer 60% van de omzet komt uit B2B-verkoop aan horeca en bedrijven, de overige 40% uit consumentenverkoop in de winkel en online.
Tot voor kort werkte het bedrijf met een combinatie van Exact Online, Lightspeed en ActiveCampaign. Hoewel elk systeem op zich voldeed, ontbrak het aan onderlinge communicatie. Vooral het voorraadbeheer en de orderverwerking vroegen om een meer geïntegreerde aanpak.
Radical Fanatics (www.fanatics.nl) heeft voor Wijnwinkel Barneveld een Odoo-omgeving ingericht waarin de winkel, webshop en backoffice samenkomen. De modules POS, Voorraad, Inkoop, Verkoop en CRM zijn geactiveerd, met een op maat gemaakte koppeling met Exact Online. Dankzij deze koppeling worden facturen gesynchroniseerd op basis van specifieke criteria, zodat bonnen vanuit Lightspeed POS alleen worden doorgezet als dat gewenst is.
In de Odoo-omgeving zijn twee magazijnen ingericht: één voor de winkel en één voor de centrale voorraad. Daarnaast is er rekening gehouden met de specifieke eisen van de wijnhandel, zoals meerdere btw-tarieven, statiegeldretouren, en accijns bij import.
De schaalbaarheid van Odoo was een belangrijk argument om voor dit platform te kiezen. Wijnwinkel Barneveld wilde een toekomstbestendige oplossing die betaalbaar bleef, maar wel ruimte biedt voor groei. Door slim te integreren in plaats van te vervangen, behoudt het bedrijf zijn vertrouwde tools zoals Lightspeed, maar werkt het nu vanuit één centrale plek met overzicht en controle. البيع بالجملة / التجزئة
