Bit Projekt DOO selected Odoo ERP due to its flexibility and capacity for customization, which allowed the company to replace fragmented manual processes with an integrated system tailored to the specific needs of the construction industry.

The priority tasks set for the Odoo ERP implementation included:

1. Creating and managing quotations and invoices within Odoo, including automated submission of invoices to the SEF (Serbian government’s e-invoicing platform).

2. Monitoring project execution in the construction sector through Odoo’s Project and Timesheet modules, including the management of interim (partial) billing situations typical for construction projects.

3. Managing procurement processes using the Purchase module — from sending RFQs to vendors to controlling deliveries and stock intake.

4. Implementing a localized accounting system that complies with Serbian regulations, using the Odoo Accounting module with Serbian localization.

5. Organizing and tracking inventory across multiple warehouse types, including setting initial stock levels, conducting inventory counts, and automating internal transfers between the main warehouse and project-based warehouses.

6. Integrating inventory and manufacturing workflows, enabling real-time tracking of material usage and supply across construction sites.
