stumbled over the term pad in several v8 Modules
- pad_project
- pad
- note_pad
while note_pad is obvious the other 2 aren't. I guess it is a term every software developer understands just fine. Can anyone clarify?

The Pad refers to the etherpad intergration modules.
Example: https://pad.odoo.com
