In Nepal a non-Gregorian calendar is used.  Today (Gregorian date: April (4th month) 4, 2017 is Chaitra (12th month) 22, 2073.

There are 12 months in a year, and each month has between 29 and 32 days.  The months do not have the same number of days each year.

The Financial Year starts on the 1st day of the 4th month, but that can be one of several days in the middle of the Gregorian month of July.

How do I configure Odoo to use the Nepali Financial Year and use the Nepali months for the accounting periods?

I have not found an answer yet.

I found one of the library in python but I am not being able to implement in. https://pypi.python.org/pypi/nepalicalendar/0.4 here you can find the library

Dear Upasana jyu,

I have a a couple of libraries that I have written/updated for my local systems use.

I have one in Python, and one in JavaScript.

I use the python one with Django, so it also has a tamplatetag to allow simple
conversion at display time.  The JavaScript one I use with React.

I am not sure how to bolt one of these into Odoo.

Where are you based?  I am based in Tansen, Palpa.

Tim.
