Is is legal to "debrand" Odoo? Are the Apps that allow this violating the license agreement of Odoo?

I have seen Apps that remove references to Odoo, such as:
"Powered by Odoo"
"Sent via Odoo"
They remove Odoo logos and all references to Odoo, even in Error messages, users (OdooBot) etc.
Is this allowed?

You are free to use Apps that remove references to Odoo (the name and the logo), or to remove references yourself via inheriting and overriding default Odoo views.
The only thing that CANNOT be removed is the copyright statement, which references Odoo in it.
