My ADMIN user has a lot of unread messages/notifications.
How can I dismiss or clear all of these at once?

Do this from within the Discuss App:
Note: that this will not clear notifications created due to failed email or sms delivery.
You can do it through Settings/Technical/Activities or Exceptions
