As a Software editor, ADFINANCE designs develops, deploys, and provides customer support to financial institutions using its own suite of software products linked to its core banking system called ADbanking.

12 Degrés is a French wine boutique located in Kimihurura, Kigali, specializing in
offering premium wine-tasting experiences and retail services.
● Our contribution :
The company previously utilized Odoo online for its operations but sought to enhance
synchronization of its invoicing process to comply with the legal requirements of the
Rwanda Revenue Authority.
AD Finance migrated the client database from Odoo Online to Odoo.sh cloud platform.
We uploaded Odoo-IntuitFlow so the client could generate legal invoices. Additionally, we
provided support for sending posted invoices from Odoo to the Rwanda Revenue Authority
server. They began using Odoo-IntuitFlow at the beginning of December 2023 and were the first
client to use Odoo-IntuitFlow. 12 DEGREES equally enrolled for our special support service
programme that enables us to follow the client even after implementation.
ADFinance is an African-based Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
company that specializes in providing technical solutions across a diverse range of
industries, including microfinance, in seven African countries.
● Our contribution :
AD Finance effectively utilizes Odoo for its internal operations. The management team
leverages the Accounting module for invoicing, expense tracking, and budgeting,
ensuring streamlined financial processes. Additionally, the company uses Odoo to
manage its projects, support tickets, and human resource management, providing an
integrated solution that enhances efficiency across all departments.
Brico NB Ltd is a Kigali-based company, founded in 2011. Starting as a small hardware
and home appliances shop, it has grown steadily and now specializes in safety
equipment for industries while expanding its home appliance offerings. With two
branches located in Remera and Gisozi, Brico NB has built a strong market presence
through its commitment to quality products and services.
● Our contribution :
Brico had two points of sale, each specialized: one for B to B and the other for B to C.
However, the software they were using didn’t allow for centralized data, which caused
issues in managing their stock. Additionally, their old system didn’t enable them to
handle the entire sales process for businesses, particularly the creation of quotations.
Brico also wanted to integrate the software with the RRA to generate invoices that
comply with Rwandan regulations. That’s why we proposed the Purchase, Inventory,
and Sales modules for B to B, the POS module for B to C, as well as the Accounting
and Intuit-Flow modules.
DTS Rwanda is a company specializing in the sale of IT supplies and the provision of
technology services. They offer comprehensive solutions, including server and network
installation, IT maintenance, and technology consulting. DTS supports businesses in
optimizing and managing their IT infrastructures to ensure performance and security.
● Our contribution :
DTS was using QuickBooks for their accounting, but they faced challenges in managing
opportunities, particularly since most of their sales were to businesses. They needed a
solution to effectively handle the bidding process for tenders, which led to the
implementation of the CRM module. Another key priority was managing inventory and
deliveries due to their high volume of shipments. They also wanted to track specific
products, such as computers, using serial numbers. To address these needs, we
implemented the Purchasing, Inventory, and Sales modules.
Essentia Kivu Hotel is a 5-star establishment located in Kamembe, Rwanda, nestled
along the shores of Lake Kivu. The hotel offers a range of amenities, including room
service and catering services, providing guests with a comfortable and convenient stay.
● Our Contribution:
As a new hotel, Essentia lacked an ERP system to efficiently manage its operations.
We successfully implemented Odoo 17 with key modules to meet their specific needs:
the Purchase module for streamlined procurement, the Inventory module for effective
stock management, and the POS (Restaurant) module to handle restaurant operations
and orders. For Rooms and Reservation management, we developed a Hotel
Management Module with its dashboard and reporting features module to optimize
bookings and other services such room cleanings, room orders, etc.
GoodLife Health and Beauty is the largest pharmacy chain in Rwanda, with over a
dozen
locations and a wide range of products across the health and beauty sectors. The
company sought to streamline its operations by integrating all processes into a unified
ERP system, allowing for easier management and scalability as they expand.
● Our Contribution:
We successfully migrated their business operations from their previous system to Odoo
V17,
covering key areas such as purchasing, inventory management, point of sale,
accounting, and
payroll. We also integrated the system with Rwanda's EBM via our in house developed
module Odoo IntuitFlow (Electronic Billing Machine) and developed a customized
Pharmacy module tailored to meet the specific needs of the industry. In addition, we
have engaged GoodLife Health and Beauty on a support plan that enables us to give
them full guidance even after implementation.
Heroes Lounge is a premium restaurant, bar, lounge in Kigali. Make a table reservation or book a
VIP table online.
Our Contribution:
Heroes Lounge previously relied on two separate software packages: one for sales and
restaurant management, and another for accounting and stock management. However,
these systems lacked the ability to generate invoices integrated with the Rwanda
Revenue Authority (RRA).
After collaborating with us, we implemented Odoo and seamlessly integrated it with the
RRA using our custom-developed Odoo IntuitFlow module (EBM). This solution allowed
Heroes Lounge to manage their entire operation, from purchasing to sales, within a
single software platform. Additionally, we integrated key Odoo modules such as
Purchase, Inventory, POS, and Accounting, creating a unified and efficient system for
their overall business operations.
We also developed a custom employee access rights module to meet all security
requirements and protect against theft. This module ensures that staff members have
appropriate access levels, safeguarding sensitive business data and improving overall
security.
INTER BUSINESS COMPANY Ltd is a leading company that has been operational
since 2010 to date. They specialize in import and distribution of various lab commodities
and medical products. INTER BUSINESS COMPANY Ltd also imports and distributes
agriculture and animal husbandry equipment, veterinary products, agri-veterinary
laboratory equipment, chemicals and reagents.
● Our contribution :
We provided INTER BUSINESS COMPANY Ltd with a fully integrated solution to
streamline their operations by unifying billing, sales, and Rwanda’s EBM system on a
single platform. Previously, they managed billing through Microsoft Word templates and
processed invoices manually with the Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA). By
implementing Odoo SH V17 and integrating essential modules CRM, Purchase,
Inventory, Sales, POS, and our custom-built Odoo IntuitFlow module (EBM) we enabled
seamless synchronization of invoices and bills with the RRA, drastically reducing
manual tasks and improving operational efficiency. The CRM module now allows them
to efficiently manage and track tender information, further enhancing their overall
business operations.
QUINCAILLERIE BETA is a multi branch hardware company in Rwanda that provides
diversified electrical products, Plumbing, and Construction materials to customers in
Rwanda and the East African Community at large.
● Our Contribution:
We successfully transitioned QUINCAILLERIE BETA from manual operations to a fully
automated system, with a focus on optimizing stock management. By implementing
Odoo and integrating five essential modules :CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Sales, and
Accounting we enabled them to efficiently manage a stock of over 1,500 products. This
streamlined their business processes and significantly improved overall operational
efficiency. Additionally, the system has helped the company organize the team by
assigning individual tasks and responsibilities, thereby facilitating the segregation of
duties.
Rwanda Foam is a leading manufacturer of mattresses, pillows, and sleep accessories
in Rwanda, with over 40 years of experience. Established in 1983, the company is
dedicated to providing high-quality sleep products designed for comfort and durability.
● Our Contribution:
Rwanda Foam already had software in place for managing sales and accounting, but
they needed a system to manage their mattress production more effectively. Their
primary goal was to track raw material inventory and accurately determine the value of
finished products. To meet this need, we integrated the Purchase and Inventory
modules to streamline raw material stock management, and the MRP module to support
production processes and precisely calculate the value of finished goods. This solution
enhanced their ability to manage production efficiently and ensure accurate costing.
Select Boutique Hotel is a Kigali-based establishment that offers first-class
accommodation and dining experience in an intimate, sophisticated setting. The hotel
provides 12 rooms delicately decorated in a fusion of old-world elegance and
contemporary style.
● Our contribution:
Select Boutiques initially faced challenges with their previous Odoo implementation,
which was ineffective in addressing their needs, particularly for stock management, bar
and restaurant operations, and cash management. Upon collaborating with AD
FINANCE, we successfully provided comprehensive retraining on the implemented
Odoo modules, focusing on addressing their key issues. We transitioned their system
from Odoo Online to Odoo SH V17, implemented the Purchase, Inventory, Accounting,
and POS modules, and provided in-depth training to ensure the system was fully
operational. This retraining and upgrade allowed Select Boutiques to better manage
their operations, especially in stock management and cash flow, and set the foundation
for continued growth and efficiency.
Sosergi is a company that offers transportation services, labor and sells recycled
products located in Gisenyi, Rwanda .
● Our Contribution:
We implemented Odoo V17 Online to automate SOSERGI's sales, inventory, and
accounting processes, which were previously handled manually. Additionally, we
tailored the Odoo payroll module to align with Rwandan payroll regulations, ensuring
streamlined and compliant human resource management Furthermore, we integrated
our custom Odoo IntuitFlow module (EBM) to sync invoices directly with the Rwanda
Revenue Authority (RRA), boosting efficiency and ensuring compliance with local
regulations.
TrAC operates one of the fastest, most agile, and highly secure networks in Africa. They
offer
premium-grade services through meticulously designed, fully protected network rings
with
multiple redundant internet feeds to ensure reliability and security.
● Our Contribution:
To streamline their invoicing process, which involves sending tens of bills monthly to
customers,
we integrated our custom-developed Odoo IntuitFlow module (EBM). This integration
seamlessly synchronizes their invoices with the Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA),
eliminating the need for manual work across two separate systems and significantly
reducing the time spent on invoicing. In addition,we have engaged TrAC on a
comprehensive support plan, ensuring they receive continuous guidance and
assistance, even after the system is in place. This enables them to maximize the value
of their ERP system and maintain operational efficiency.
