Same product from multiple databases

Question

I have two databases on the same accounts with exactly the same products and customers.
When I generate a sales report combining the two databases, I get a duplicate product names. For an example, I get Product x and Product x (2).

Is there a way to group the same product from the databases into one?

*Ensure Each Product Has a Unique Internal Reference (Barcode or SKU):*
Go to *Sales ‣ Products*. Assign a *unique internal reference* (SKU) to each product.  *Modify Sales Report to Group by Internal Reference Instead of Product Name:*
In *Reporting ‣ Sales*, switch to Pivot/Table view. Group sales by *Internal Reference* instead of *Product Name*. This will merge *Product X* and *Product X (2)* into one entry if they share the same reference.  *If Using External Reporting Tools (Excel, Power B
