a. we may buy the product with any of these currencies (USD, EUR, LBP, GBP, AED) so we should be able to create the item with the purchase price and currency
b. we must be able to create invoices with any currency and if the product cost was with different currency then the price should be automatically converted according to the latest currency rate.

a. You can manage purchase price list. In these, you will be able to indicate the currency. If you do not want to create a pricelist, you can always purchase in any currency by entering the currency on the purchase order.
b. The product cost depends on the business processes that you choose. For instance, if you have an average price, then there is no direct link between a purchase and a specific sale (This is not Odoo specific), so the system will calculate the cost at the time of purchase invoice reception and not at the time of sales.
