Hi. I'm new to Odoo and just installed v13 on a VPS. Everything looks really great so far, but I have noticed that after installing some of the apps we will be using, others started saying "Upgrade" instead of "Install".
Why is that? Is there a limit to core apps we can use? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
The modules with upgrade buttons are the enterprise modules, to get those modules you have to pay and get license to use it. If you are not planning to upgrade your instance to enterprise edition, you can remove those addons by simply adding a filter. See this: Remove Enterprise Module From Apps Menu Odoo12 CE
Also there are lot of modules available in the odoo app store for free, which can be alternative to enterprise modules, for help-desk and accounting, check this modules:

Hai Maxi, its saying upgrade because of thats apps is already installed
are u using comunity or enterprise edition? if u are using comunity edition there is some apps that requies to be enterprise to install it
These apps belong to the paid Enterprise version, please check Odoo's pricing and version pages for more information.

It's Community version and I'm referring to apps such as Accounting and Helpdesk.
Yes, as per Ermin's response these are Enterprise apps. You cannot mix Community and Enterprise, so Odoo is asking you to upgrade to Enterprise so that you can install these apps.
There are alternative apps for Accounting that are free - you can search for free apps in the app store:
