A couple of days ago I followed the WhatsApp implementation tutorial from the official documentation for my Odoo Enterprise instance, and everything went well.

I set up the WhatsApp Business account, created the templates and even verified the company in Meta.

However, although the connection test does not fail, it does not allow me to send messages.

I created a Marketing category test template in which only a welcome message would be sent. It has already been approved and I tried to send it to Client > Phone, but the message fails to be sent (the WhatsApp icon turns red) or I get a message indicating that the country or country code is not specified (when it is).


Do you have any recommendations in this case? I can't find documentation on the topic on the internet. Thank you so much.

Hello,

Here in your case, there is some possibilities:-

(1)if the admin contact has two different numbers in the contact module and they try to send and receive the message then it is not possible for that you have to create a separate contact.

(2)If the user is mentioned in the WhatsApp settings as a notify user then it is not possible to the user can send the incoming messages.

(3)Your access token will expire the having some space while you copy and paste.

(4)The issue comes from the webhook verification from the meta side just refresh your webhook and the issue will be resolved.

(5)In the meta side->app settings->near webhook option->the manage option is there-.just activate the fields related to the (messages) and you will be able to send and receive the messages.

Hi

I found a solution that worked for me.

When I created the user to configure the permanent token (in Meta), the user had only "user access", so instead I created an user with "Administrator Access" and then I did the following steps that where in the WhatsApp Documentation.

If you do this, remember to update the "Access Token" inside the WhatsApp Business account in Odoo.
