In Odoo 15: When I have a theoretical zero Qty on hand of a product. How will this product show on the inventory adjustment screen in V15? At the moment I cannot see it.
I expect it to show even if it is zero in stock so that when it's the cycle to count it comes we physically look for it, count, and if it is zero qty we verify it is correct as zero on hand.
Traditionally Our client prints out a list off all the inventory, Quantity=0 regardless if it is available in stock or not.
Did you ever find an answer on this? I'm having this issue as well.
If the quantity in the system gets to zero, it deletes the WH/stock record for that product. However, if you go in and manually update the quantity to zero, the record re-appears. I made a list of 50 products a month ago, and when we went to update them there were only 43. 7 of the products had reached zero, but the system removed the WH/Stock record as soon as it hits zero.
Unless I'm missing something this makes the new inventory system unusable. If you want to do inventory, you need a list of inventory to do. You can't make those lists in Odoo because the products disappear off the inventory adjustment as soon as the quantity goes to zero.
You can export the products to Excel and upload them, but I bought Odoo to get our team out of excel. This wasn't an issue in version 14.
HI Robbie.
We fixed it internally and moved on. it is not an app and perhaps my development team can extract it as an app. I will check and let you know.
Our of the box, the only way to keep the products on the list is to assign a user. this is counterproductive I must say.
