If I duplicate a Product that has a BoM, why isn't the BoM duplicated as well?
The variants are duplicated in newer versions of Odoo, but what's about the BOM duplication?

Unfortunately it does not work with variants and by duplicating the product the variants duplicate, but the BOM not!
How to duplicate products with variants and BOM (or duplicate BOM with variants)?
I have the solution now: Duplicating the Product does not duplicate the BoM but Duplicating the BoM duplicates the Product. So basically we need to work backwards.
Go to BoM > Select the BoM > Duplicate > Change Name > Edit the new Product > add reference or change name, etc.
