Is it possible to generate accounting report for every partner that has debit or credit entry for certain period of time

Question

I want to generate a report for every partner that includes debit, credit, and balance for a certain periodd of time. The balance should be within that period and not the total balance.
I've tried the partner ledger, and I use a filter for a certain period of time, but it shows all the partners even if there is no debit or credit entry in that period, which is something I don't want.

Hi,
This can be achieved by customizing the Partner Ledger report. You can replace the existing report domain with something like this using a custom module,
[('move_id.date', '>=', start_date), ('move_id.date', '<=', end_date), ('debit', '!=', 0) | ('credit', '!=', 0)]
