Root Cause

This issue typically occurs when one or more Default Prompts are not linked to an AI Agent.

Each default prompt must explicitly reference an AI Agent. If the Agent field is empty for any prompt, Odoo cannot determine which agent should handle the request, resulting in the access error.

Solution

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

1. Install the AI app (if not installed already)

   • Go to Apps and ensure that the AI application is installed.
     
     

2. Navigate to Default Prompts

   • Open the AI application.

   • Go to Configuration → Default Prompts.
     
     
     

3. Verify Agent Configuration

   • Review each row in the list.

   • Check the Agent column and identify any prompts where this field is empty.
     
     
     

4. Assign an AI Agent

   • Open a prompt with a missing Agent.

   • Locate the Call the Agent field.

   • Select the appropriate AI Agent that should handle this prompt.
     
     

5. Save and Test

   • Save the changes.

   • Close the configuration screen.

   • Return to an invoice, sales order, or other view and test the AI button again.
     

Expected Result

Once all default prompts are properly linked to an AI Agent, the AI button should function normally, and the “AI not reachable, AI Agent not found” error should no longer appear.
