I am looking for a way to set the first depreciation date when creating an asset. In v15 it was possible to define this date, in v16 this field has disappeared...

Hi,
In Odoo 16, there's no field to add a depreciation start date like in Odoo 15. This is because Odoo assumes that the asset is being used evenly throughout the financial year, regardless of when it was acquired, but if you want to, you can compute and change the depreciation date accordingly.
