We are a manufacturing company and sometimes we get components that come in that need additional machining due to errors, changes, etc.

In our system, it is setup to have a Product that is sold to customers. The Customer Product would be assembled on an MO from a BOM of individual components that would either be Subcontracted/Purchased or Machined In-House(Through an separate MO). 

When there is and unforeseen issue with the Individual components, we can sometimes get them fixed In-House but currently the costs/Time are not getting tracked with that component.

Our previous ERP system would allow us to create an MO that has itself as a component. This would work in that case because, the costs of re-machining would be added to the cost of the bought in components.

Can we do something like this in Odoo? Is there a module that would allow us to have an MO that consumes itself?

Or is there a better way to track the costs of any rework with some components?
