Hi All,


I have tried searching through the forums, YouTube, knowledge base and have been in contact with support so apologies if this has been covered before.  I am using V17 sh.


We set up an up outgoing mail server with Gmail OAuth Authentication and can send emails out.  The issue is that the emails only come from my user credentials (andrew@mydomain.com).

Example:

- User Joe Bloggs sends a sales order to a customer. 

- Email displayed as Joe Bloggs(andrew@mydomain.com) 

- Expected to be displayed as Joe Bloggs(joe@mydomain.com)

- All emails coming from Odoo are showing in my sent items


We are using our domain in the "From Filtering" section of the outgoing mail server, but it seems to always default to my email address which is the credentials (username) used to set up the outgoing mail server.


Initial setup from Odoo Success Pack, they suggested to submit a ticket to Odoo support, Odoo support says not in their scope as it is likely an issue on Googles side...  All hours of success Pack have now been used so we are stuck.
