Hi all,

I am wondering if there is a (custom)module that handles check-ins and check-outs for tools and equipments from a warehouse.

My situation:  i have about 30 employees whole uses tools on a daily base, in the morning they check out a basic set and other tools/equipment on a need bases.

As well we send out boxes with tools to contrstruction sites.


I have been using odoo 10 CE maintenance for a couple of years, it can do the job but is really time consuming now that we have a lot more employees.


so the ideal situation would be:  Select the tool with barcode and click on "check ou by", to select an employee.


or select an employee by scanning his batch and then (mass) checkout tools and equipment scanned.


Any of you who knows a (custom) module that can handle this feature?

Hello,

Here you have to use the inventory internal transfers for that. You have to select the partner in picking. Click on add a line button and scan the barcode of the product so it creates a line for that product. You can do same thing for all products. At the day end generate duplicate of that picking and return to stock location. With this configuration you can also track the old records of any employee.

that doesn't sound so practical. this should be a feature off of the tools & equipment app that links employee records. status checked out/ checked in and a history of the tool and a history from the employee side. report for tools not checked back in at days end or morning. "missing tools"
