Cash register

Question

Hello, I have Odoo 8 and I am trying to understand how cash register works. I go to Accounting -> Bank and cash -> Cash registers. Then create a cash register, and then open this. Then I create and validate a payment of a customer (in the same journal that the cash register); but in the cash register I can't see tha payment.
How can I use the cash register to control the payments and receipts in any journal? Thanks!

Hi Jose
1) You needs to check if the Journal which you have assigned has Default Debit and Credit Account
2) While creating Journal you need to check that its type is "CASH"
3) While creating Cash Register the journal should always be the Cash
Try this it should work. If still you have the same issue let me know so that i can expedite the same.
