I am using ODOO 13 on employee leave/time off management, I need to know that can I allocate leave based on a particular date
for example:
If I need to allocate 3 days paid time off for an xyz employee, but the leave should be taken on the month of october, if the employee wishes to take a time off on another month except october, his leave balance should be 0
Please tell me if there is any way how I can do it ,

Yes, we can allocate the leaves/time off for a particular period. Thereby the allocated number of days will add for an employee.
But for satisfying your requirement, on every Time Off type, we can setup the period validity, so that it cannot be selected outside the time period. There have the provision to define the From and To Date which the validity should works.
For Eg, we setup the From Date as OCT 1 and To Date as OCT 31 for a Time Off type like Pilgrimage Time Off. Then and allocate 10 days for the same Time Off type. So XYZ employee can able to take the Pilgrimage Time Off only on the month of OCT. When the same employee will try to take the leave after the defined validity. Then odoo will show the Warning (Pilgrimage Leave are only valid between the defined date range).

But the above said logic is only for Leave type and not on employee,
It will come for the whole leave type
For eg. If I have 3 employees xyz, abc, pqr, .. I need to allocate the month of October for abc, pqr and January for xyz...
Do you think any customization would work, if yes can you suggest any?
Need the customization on the area of allocation. During the time of leave allocation, we have to define the date range. And have to implement a function which that allocated days only should avail on the set of period. Even the period exceeds, and anyone again trying to take, then system should give a warning that particular leave/time off type had been expired.
Sorry to bother you, is this possible via the front-end customization? Because I am relatively not much familiar with the backend coding,...
I recommend the backend development which is the best way while we compare to front end customization.
