Agitadores Agitaser is a company dedicated to the design and manufacture of industrial agitators since 1942. They have been in the liquid treatment market (mixing, dispersion, emulsion, etc.) for over 75 years.
Throughout this time, its goal has always been to meet and resolve the needs that have arisen within the different sectors of agitation, offering permanent attention to our customers and a continuous effort to remain at the forefront of the most advanced technological systems.
In addition, it was the first national company to incorporate specialized software into its work system to perform fluid dynamic and structural studies of different agitation systems.
More than 75 years ago
Agitadores Agitaser had been working with its own management software for years, allowing it to offer exceptional service for so long. However, after an internal audit, they analyzed the shortcomings they had internally because of this software, so it was time to switch to Odoo.
With the recommendation and collaboration of an external IT solutions consultant, they decided to implement Odoo, so they could analyze the potential impact of working with this new tool. For this reason, they chose to start the implementation process in order to adapt the solutions offered to their departmental needs.
In collaboration with Odoo's Business Analysts team, they began to implement the software. Although it is true that the company's operations are complex due to the high volume of components that require not only coding but also various internal and external operations, they can already see that Odoo has clearly marked a before and after in the way they work.
The main reason for the change was structural and organizational problems within the company, so unifying all processes within a single tool has greatly facilitated their daily operations. Even though certain details of the implementation have yet to be finalized, the linking of the entire company to a single software program is already noticeable. This gives them overall control of the main areas of the company, thus facilitating management, streamlining processes, and key decision-making.
A complex implementation
During implementation, the biggest obstacle they encountered was the nature of their products and manufacturing processes. Each one has its own machining and/or finishing, which must be integrated into a stock for proper management. Despite its complex operation, the ERP has been almost completely implemented, with this operation to be completed in the remainder of 2025.
Another major challenge companies face when migrating to management software such as Odoo is understanding all the processes and visualizing all the ins and outs of a company. However, once they understood what they wanted to do, the collaboration between Agitadores Agitaser and Odoo has come up with solutions and alternatives to resolve all the difficulties that have arisen along the way.
The changes that stand out most at Agitadores Agitaser are the structure and order that Odoo has brought. Among others, they highlight the control of offers, the ability to make sales forecasts and study cash flow, structure sales using filters, and streamline interdepartmental processes.
Today, even with some details still to be finalized, they are already noticing an increase in their daily agility, so much so that they did not expect it to be so striking.
After two years of experience with the system and coming from custom-made software, Agitadores Agitaser would recommend Odoo both as a tool capable of managing a business in its entirety and for the availability of the Odoo team.
