Recently, I have notice that when I add db_name and update options in my config file it doesn't update my module when I restart Odoo.
I've also tried database instead of db_name but, it doesn't still work.
I have tested it on Odoo v14 and v13.

Hi,
You cannot upgrade from the odoo configuration file, but you can update module by passing -u module_name -d db_name along with the command that you use to run odoo.

Actually, I don't have access to the command that runs Odoo that's why I asked if there is another way to do that but it seems that there is no other way
