I'm using the accounting app. I go to Accounting>Accounting Entries and create an entry.

When I try to use decimals on the amount for instance I try to write 3,14 and validate the line it will instantly convert to 314,00.

This bug didn't exist last week before odoo published an update for their accounting app.

This bug doesn't exist in other user interaces where I can introduce ammounts such as customer bills that generate the accounting entries with the right ammount.

I tried several browsers (chorme and firefox), and even created a new test account but the bug is still there.

The bug manifested even before updating the database (as there is a new version of the accounting app available). After updating the database the bug is still here

Hello, this is Gulshan Negi.

Well, it seems like there might be a bug in the latest version of the Odoo accounting app that is causing this issue with decimal points being converted to whole numbers. Since the bug is present in multiple browsers and on a new test account, it is likely an issue with the app itself. You could try reaching out to the Odoo support team to report the issue and see if they have a solution or a fix for it. In the meantime, you could try using a workaround such as entering the amount as a whole number and then dividing it by 100 to get the correct decimal value. Alternatively, you could try using a different accounting app or software until the issue with Odoo is resolved.

Thanks
