I have a product for which I replenish on order, but I have stock because customer returns.
If I confirm a SO lets say with 5 units and I have 2 on stock, how can I tell Odoo to reserve this 2 units and manufacture the remaining 3 units?

To reserve the qty already in stock make sure to change the supply method in the rule.
Inventory > Configuration > Routes .. select the MTO route.
On the 1st rule which is Stock -> Customer (MTO), ensure the "Supply Method" is set to 'Take From Stock, if unavailable, Trigger Another Rule'
Pull from Partner Location/ customer to WH/ Stock supply method 'Take from Stock, if unavailable, Trigger Another Rule'
Hi; you need to configure the Product [Inventory section] and select "Manufacture"
configure Reordering Rules [Máx / Min] stock Qty.
and configure Warehouse to Manufacture.
This one works if I keep a minimum stock, but I was wondering if it's possible without RR, I already try with RR00, but the I have to run the scheduler (or wait for the server to run ir automatically) and the MO triggered is not linked with the SO, so if the qty are replenished on stock can be reserved to another order.
