The image below shows a POS session ready for closing; however OpenErp refuses to close as - apparently - it does not consider the ending cash total.

This behaviour is new since we closed numerous sessions in the previous months; would it be caused by the new Saas-2 release?

This is because difference should be 0.00
If not, you cannot close the session (especially if you checked openning control + cash control)
In a few words : you started with 159,40, you made 85.60 transactions, You should have "Solde final" at 245.00, so difference will be 0.00
Solde final = solde calculé (théorique)
