Is it possible to hide unwanted variants which are not available in store

Good question but unfortunately the field published and the e-commerce preferences related to out-of-stock are managed only in the product template and not in the variants.
It's only possible to exclude variants that aren't available, for this:
1. Configure the attribute you want to modify
2. And Exclude what isn't available
3. In the Webshop the value will be brighter and when choosing the combination a warning will appear.

To hide unavailable variants from the product page in Odoo, you can use the Website Hide Variants module from the Odoo App Store.This module helps to hide variant which are unavailable by clicking on a boolean field

This is a nice app but is there one that would enable user to still choose the variant but make it not show in the product specification?
