I changed the password for user openpg using PGAdminIII rather than through OpenERP in the expectation that I could change it in server_conf file. Now I get fatal error, authentication failed for user openpg whenever I try to open the login web screen.

I have searched the faq but I don't seem to find anything similar.

What is the password model used between the webserver and the database ? Is openpg a fixed username that must exist ? (I tried to create another userrole on the server but no luck)

Is the password stored somewhere in OpenERP database ?
