I'm using Odoo 11.0. I have a product line with 114 individually numbered items in it. Right now, they're all the same. I'd like to create a few different attributes for variations that will be applied to the product and assign attributes to each numbered product individually. 

I created a few variants ("Color:black", "Color:white", "Color:red"). I went to the individual item ("Lots/Serial Numbers/0004"), and edited it. When I select the product type, I can see the product name repeated 4 times, but no indication of which variant is which. What am I doing wrong? I can't change the product name for each variant, obviously, but how do I tell which variant I'm selecting?
