Hi :) I'm trying to share an article in Knowledge, not with an individual Guest, but with a Group of people or with a Company, where all the Contacts related to that Company should be granted access to read this article.

Does anyone know how do to this?

Hei,

Jeg er på ferie, tilkake på jobb 2. Januar.

Hi,

where is this feature? It does not appear in Odoo Cloud?

Perhaps, this third-party app might be an alternative to suit your goals: https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/18.0/knowsystem

Thanks Ksolves :)

Does this setup require using any of your APPs? Reason for asking is that in our Odoo (v16 .sh) there is no Groups under Contacts, neither am I able to find Groups while sharing in Knowledge.

Or am I missing someting basic :)

I am actually looking for the same functionality, to be able to create group of contacts...
it could be possible to subscribe parters by using their tag, but maybe someone has a simple code at hand for this ?
Erik, did you find a solution to this ?

Hello, Erik,

To share an article in Odoo Knowledge with a group of people or a company and grant access to all the contacts related to that company, you can follow the below steps:

Create a group in Odoo for the people or company you want to share the article with. To create a group, go to the Contacts app and click on "Groups". Then, click on "Create" and enter the name of the group and the contacts related to the company.

Once the group is created, go to the Knowledge app and select the article you want to share.

Click on the "Share" button and select "Group" from the dropdown.

Choose the group you just created and click on "Add". This will grant access to all the contacts related to that company.

You can also set the access level for the group, such as read-only or read-write access.

That's it! The article is now shared with the selected group, and all the contacts related to that company will have access to it according to the access level you have set.

If you need any assistance or support, please don't hesitate to reach out. Our team is always here to help!"

Regards,

Ksolves Team!
