If I want to issue a RFQ to a supplier this means I want to get a price for a service or product, I am unsure why I have to indicate the price on the RFQ, I would expect the vendor to provide their price. Please can you clarify

"Procurement" is not a question.

We get almost 1,000 posts a month and not everyone will open a post to find out what your question is.

I have edited your post to make the title a question.

In the future, please consider using a Question that makes it clear what you ask without requiring people to open your post, as this will often increase the chances
people will respond and make everything clearer for others looking for the same answer.

In the RFQ, you don't need to enter the unit price for the product. you can enter the price of the product once you get the quotation from the supplier (if you make any previous purchase then system will show you the price by default for your reference), then you will feed other details and make it confirm.

You can take a printout of the rfq which will not show you the unit price

You don't have to put a price on an RFQ, and if you send it by email or generate the pdf using the "Request for Quotation" format it doesn't have a price.
