I installed odoo and I cant find where the pricelist option is? I need to create pricelists per product category as I had in odoo v8.

Activate Pricelists in Sales > Configuration > Settings:
There are 3 levels of pricelists settings. If you want prices per product category, choose "Advanced pricing based on formula".
You will then find the pricelists in Sales > Configuration > Pricelists
Ok thanks guys. I got it and went to the pricelist creation but it seems strange and doesnt work the way it did in v8.
Im looking for a markup rule, so I chose the Formula option. I base the formula on Cost and I want to add 75% to the item cost to generate the final price.
However the template only allows me to subtract a % (as discount):
Cost - %
and then add a fixed value as surcharge:
Cost - % + US$.
How do I make it add a % markup to the cost like so:
Cost + %markup = Final Price
Did you try using a negative value?
Hi Santiago EV,
First active the developer mode,
Then go to Setting >Users and give right of following groups to particular user.
- "Sales Pricelists"
- "Manage Pricelist Items"
- "Pricelists On Product"
Then save and reload window.
