The manifest file __openerp__.py contains the boolean options bootstrap and web. Can anyone explain what the use of these options is and when to use them. Examining various modules I see them in one and not the other.

Hi Hendrik!
The Option bootstrap in the OpenERP 7.0 manifest file is used to indicate the server to load this server at the server startup.
Unless if this Option is enabled that perticular module will be loaded at the time of Database selection. But, if the option is enabled module will be loaded before loading the login screen itself. To say it simple.
