Can anyone help me to figure this out?
I need to see a custom field created by me in another model.
Ex.:
I created a "x_custom_text" field in Maintenance.equipment model.
I need to see that field in "maintenance.request" model.
How can I do this from user interface?
I would appreciate your help!
You need a Related Field. I am not familiar with the Maintenance app, but I think it would be something like this existing field for the Product Category:
This displays the Product Category on the Maintenance Request, and I think you want something similar.

Yes I figured this out, Thanks a lot. However can you explain where is the equipment_id stored, I looked in Maintenance request and Maintenance Equipment but I didn't find that field "equipment_id"

Hi, I bump into same situation, I created a custom field x_shippinginfo (Text) in Delivery Note (Model stock.picking), I want to show this information on the invoice (Model account.invoice).
I create a many2one field x_shippinginfo in account.invoice model, with following setup
but get following error
