Is there, or will there be, full support for Internet Explorer 10+?
I recently tried to access the the POS UI using IE10 on Win 8; however the panel that contains products was empty. Using FireFox and Chrome it displayed correctly.

OpenERP 7 support IE9 and above except for CSS candy (it should be usable but it might be ugly).
OpenERP 8 will support IE10 and above we wi,ll try to fix css candy too as we plan to flatten the design and switch to boostrap 3.
There was an additional exception for the pos on IE9 but i think it should work on IE10 and now that the pos campaign is funded i will make sure it work on IE too.

POS does not work on IE10 (products are not rendered, and maybe some other stuff)

As far as I know, IE is not supported by POS.
Seen in pos.xml :

In fact , POS is displayed when using IE 10 , but some features may not working properly.
But today I tried with IE 11, POS is working but some CSS are not well rendered and I'm not sure that all JS features are working well.
You better use Firefox or Chrome instead.

Internet Explorer 11 with Odoo V8 also has a problem displaying the left bar menu.
