'Cancel Install' button appears If a module installation fails at any point, Odoo will roll back any potential changes. So module remains completely uninstalled, but the state of the module is "To Install", which is why you see the option to "Cancel Install". "Cancel Install" only means to unmarked the module to be installed whenever another module is installed or whenever the server restarts.

We can manually run the test cases to find the problem.

If there is something wrong with the module, it goes to Cancel Install State and show this button. So i will recommend you to cross check the code.
