How to add a new column in table.

Hi Shibin,
You can add new field by inheriting sale.order.line [1]  model and adding the new field in the view as below:
suppose you want to add new field of type char , in your python file add like this:

And now you can add this field in your xml file by inheriting

This code will add your new field just after the product column
