Hi all,
We have several SKU's with very generic stock lot names. For example "Batch 1", "1001" etc. However, each stock lot is unique to it's own SKU.
For example, a breakdown of this could be; SKU - Stock lots
SKU 1 - 1001, 1002, 1003
SKU 2 - 1001, 1003, 1005
Does odoo allow users to input same stock lot strings to over different SKU's? Or does it function like serial numbers ?
We tried importing and received errors upon performing stock adjustments.
hi, yes, by default, allows. and when now we implement for customers, we are fixing it. if you will try to return(from customer), you will be able return what was(or is) in stock but not sent to that customer. odoo say it is f-cionality, i would rather say-quite big bug. so to avoid this, you need very careful make customization.

So I shouldn't have stock lots with the same names?
i say, by default, lots/serial is not ideal(from 10v i have doing with them). and a lot things need to be improved.
