In general bill of material is only for finished good (product) but in odoo 11 it is asking for BOM of raw material (component of product) also.could you tell me how to handle this

thank you for your reply I am manufacturing abc but I am not manufacturing a, b and c. I buy them from any other supplier, in this case we create BOM for abc , why should we create bill of material for a, b, c
change your raw material rout buy instead of manufacture

What exactly you are issue ? see product Abc, have BOM a, b and c. Then a will have bill of materials, if a is also a product which is manufacturing

It seems like your raw material product type is stockable and your operation routs is manufacture. that's why it is asking u for BOM of raw material.
