I've tried empty BOM and also creating a custom workflow to prevent the confirmation upon creation of MO in a MTO process, the empty BOM is not possible due to the sensitivity of each products so it's not a possibility, when I tried creating a custom workflow wherein I added a button called release and depend the creation to it by using it make the MO in draft, there's a validation error occurring in stock moves, what workaround can I do to still achieve the draft MO

Hi Rick, what is your expected behavior?
You want the route to be set to Manufacture, but don't want to confirm the manufacture? only put it as Draft?
My process is an MTO process, I want the created MO from the sales order to be in draft and not confirmed
You can have a BoM with components, you just need ANOTHER BoM without that is dragged to be above the other one in the list. This way your MO is created in DRAFT mode, then you select the other BoM when you are ready to confirm
