Hey everybody, 

We've noticed some very disturbing details in the POS: It is not possible to use the numpad with the normal keyboard, means you HAVE TO use the mouse to enter a new price or a discount. For professional and fast moving cashiers this is really annoying. (I've never seen a cashier putting a price with the mouse into a system)


Do you know any way (in javascript) to use shortcuts for the following POS situation: 

1. Using the physical numpad on the keyboard to enter prices

2. Creating shortcuts for discount, price and quantity

Hello,

After reading your requirements I would suggest you to go for Odoo POS Keyboard Shortcuts. The module allows you to create distinct keyboard shortcuts. You can create different keyboard shortcuts for each POS shop. The module also includes the shortcuts for multiple important functions of the POS such as Add a customer, Next order, Print Receipt, etc. 

The features offered are:

  1. The module allows you to create keyboard shortcuts for Odoo POS Session.

  2. It adds important predefined keyboard shortcuts.

  3. The Odoo user can change the hotkeys as per his preferences.

  4. Each POS shop can then be assigned a distinct configuration as per the user's requirements.
