I'm pretty new to Odoo and am using V16.0.

I'd like to manually create an RFQ, so I proceed as follows.

Purchace-> New-> Add a product

Only 100 items are available to add to the RFQ, and ONLY from a dropdown box at that, I can't even type part of any item and have it populate / suggest.

Anyone have any idea what is restricting RFQ so severely?  Surely this system works for companies that have over 100 items that must be ordered...and how is this handled if I had say several thousands of items that I may need choose from to order?  I can't fathom having to add every item one at a time from a dropdown list that I had to manually scroll through until I found what I was after.

Unless customized, Odoo will show the 8 most commonly purchased products in the dropdown with the ability to type part of an item and change what is shown in the list and to use the Search More feature to open a popup Wizard that shows the entire list of Products configured where Can be Purchased is set to True (Purchase in Odoo 18.0).

When you use Search More you also have the ability to change how many records are shown on the first page of the Wizard.

By default we show 80 per page, but if you click in the area showing the current range you can change this to show more:

Visit https://master.odoo.com/saas_master/demo/ to verify how the standard (non customized) system works to determine if you have a customized version.
