Hi, 


I want to write and retreive values from a certain odoo Spreadsheet via an Automated Action or also scheduled Action.


Is this possible?

Yes, this is definitely possible! You can read and write values from Odoo Spreadsheets using both Automated Actions and Scheduled Actions.

How it works: Odoo Spreadsheets are stored in the documents.document model with the spreadsheet data stored as JSON in the spreadsheet_data field.

Reading from a Spreadsheet:
 # In Automated Action or Scheduled Action (Execute Python Code)
  spreadsheet = env['documents.document'].search([('name', '=', 'Your Spreadsheet Name')], limit=1)
  if spreadsheet and spreadsheet.spreadsheet_data:
      import json
      data = json.loads(spreadsheet.spreadsheet_data)
      # Now you can access the data
      sheets = data.get('sheets', [])
      cells = sheets[0].get('cells', {}) if sheets else {}
      # Access specific cell: cells.get('A1', {}).get('content')

Writing to a Spreadsheet:
  import json
  spreadsheet = env['documents.document'].search([('name', '=', 'Your Spreadsheet Name')], limit=1)
  if spreadsheet:
      data = json.loads(spreadsheet.spreadsheet_data or '{}')
      # Modify the data structure
      if 'sheets' not in data:
          data['sheets'] = [{'cells': {}}]
      # Example: Set value in cell A1
      data['sheets'][0]['cells']['A1'] = {'content': 'New Value'}
      spreadsheet.spreadsheet_data = json.dumps(data)

For Scheduled Actions:
Create a Scheduled Action at Settings → Technical → Automation → Scheduled Actions and use the same Python code in the "Python Code" field.

For Automated Actions:
Create an Automated Action on your desired model and trigger it based on record creation, update, or other conditions.

Note: The spreadsheet JSON structure can be complex. You may need to inspect spreadsheet.spreadsheet_data first to understand the exact structure for your specific spreadsheet.
