we are developing robots using Solidworks with PDM. To help us grow, we want to implement Odoo v13 soon.
Has anyone experience exchanging
BOM,
version/revision numbers for parts/products,
production data,
stock,
etc.
between Odoo and Solidworks PDM? Is there a better alternative for interfacing between Odoo and Solidworks?
If yes, it would be great to hear your experience, tips and tricks, do's and dont's, important features to consider, known limitations etc.

I'm deciding on how to connect a PDM to Odoo. And if using the Proyecto Module or the PLM for the engineering department.

We have developed a connector between Odoo and another PDM different of solidworks one. Coming soon we start develop to conecting Odoo and SW PDM Professional.
With first testings we have been able to load more than 100.000 products in Odoo within less than three hours.
