Hello, 

We have been unable to rectify this problem for the past year.   With Odoo 14EE Bank Sync, we receive the following error every time we import a statement via bank sync.  " The ending balance is incorrect ! The expected balance ($ 20,230.96) is different from the computed one ($ 2,361.30). "  This happens on the three sync accounts we have, we are in the US and they are plaid connections. 

We need to edit the statement and copy the actual computerized balance from the bottom of the statement and paste it in the ending balance in the header of the statement, then click post.  It is a pain.   A Odoo Certified CPA said it was a known Odoo issue, however Odoo support doesn't know about it and hasn't been able to help.     

We have deleted the sync connections, updated the app (twice now), and have the same issue.   Any advise?

In your "View Statements", are all previous statement entries balanced correctly and show either "processing" or "Validated" status? And for the newest statement, does it's start balance equal the ending balance of the previous entry? These are the first things to rule out.

Once we manually correct the ending balance we are able to post the statement correctly.

A new imported statement does correctly show the last statement ending balance as the starting balance. However as stated, the ending balance is where the problem lies.

I realized I didn't answer your question. Yes they are all processing or validated and the the prior beginning and ending balances track.
