Dear All,


Is there a feature in Odoo where the system does not allow the user to have negative inventory from any of the transactions.  For e.g., Sales, Purchase, Sales Return, Purchase Return, Inventory Adjustments, etc.


For e.g., I have stock on hand 10 Qty, but in POS customer brings in 11 qty.  Then system should not allow this sale to happen as the on hand qty < sale qty.


In which of these modules the negative inventory validation is already available and not available.  Please help.

Hi,

Please refer to the following modules:

1. https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/15.0/pos_restrict_product_stock

You can find the latest version from V15 to V17.

2. https://odoo-community.org/shop/stock-disallow-negative-2467#attr=941918

You can find the latest version from v8 to V18

Hi,
By default you don't have this feature in odoo, but there are apps providing this feature, for example stock_no_negative app by OCA for inventory side. And for website/ecommerce, by default you can stop placing order when stock is not available.
