Multi company setup "The tax group must have the same country_id as the tax using it."

Question

Hello,
We are try to setup company #2 in Odoo 15 enterprise.  However, when we choose the Configurable Chart of Accounts, we get this error message "The tax group must have the same country_id as the tax using it." Any insight appreciated.

You can remove the country from the company temporarily. You may be using a tax of a specific country while the country in your company is different than the tax country. This is causing the issue, so you can remove the country from the company during the configuration, and you can configure the country as you finish COA configuration.

Hello Everyone,
I got the same issue on CE, my work around to resolve and install Configurable COA as follows,
(1) Open Tax Codes and check Advance tab which country has been selected (In my case it was USA)
(2) Open Tax Group, change country as United States
(3) Open Settings, Select Configurable COA and save the settings
My error disappear and I was able to install my COA for the second company. Hope this helps
