i tried to add new module in odoo 9, in directory it is added but not showing in apps for installation

First you need to turn on developers interface,
(Uper right corner, click on your username, click Abut, click Activate developer interface)
then go to apps and click on Update Apps List
Alternative... create a new database ( then your module will be visible on modules list)
Also.. in your module descriptor (__openerp__.py) key 'installable' should be True
