Hi people,

I am automating some purchases (odoo v16) and I have an issue with the minimum quantity.

When I add a product on a purchase the quantity is set by default with the minimum quantity specified on the vendor side.

The issue is that when I sell this product and a purchase order is triggered by the MTO route the minimum quantity is not the specified on the vendor side.

Does anyone know a solution for that?

Any help would be appreciated.

Believe you should consider using the replenishment rules rather than MTO. On MTO route the qty is fixed by the sale order qty. You would be able to set 0,0,x(multiples or min order qty) on replenishment

Im disappointed It cant be done by MTO, I need to automate the whole flow by 1 click on sale order. That's why replenishment doesnt work for me but thanks for the answer anyways :)

Replenishment also is 1 click on SO, in the event the trigger is set to auto. The primary difference is that the PO isn’t linked to SO.

Quite understandably so, as the PO isn’t entirely and solely for the SO qty, the difference qty (SO-PO) will be stored in stock location.
